How
is Redefine Design unique?
Redefine Design’s concept is quite different from traditional interior
design practice. We do not try to sell you anything! We come into your space
and work with the things that you already own. When we do recommend new purchases
we provide you with a resource list and specifications regarding color, size,
fabric, etc., which is part of the written design plan at the end of the consultation.
Our goal is to redefine your space and help you "Love your home with
what you own!"

From a two bedroom apartment to a 6000 square foot house, we work in all types

Will
my room be completed when you leave?
We will discuss and suggest many things during the course of the consultation—only
some can be accomplished immediately. In some cases we will rearrange furniture.
Other times for the safety of your valuables we will not be moving them. Often
the room will look dramatically different, but rarely will it be totally finished.
Recommendations for window treatments, lighting, paint color and fabric or
new furniture choices are provided during the consultation and are also written
in the design plan in order for you to meet your long term decorating needs.
We always leave you with a resource list to help you with any future purchases.

Can

How
long does it take to
have a consultation for a room?
The typical consultation for each room is anywhere between one-and-a-half to
three hours.

How
do you charge?
We charge a flat fee based on the number of room(s) you choose to re-decorate
so the client always knows exactly what the cost will be upfront. The fee is
based on the size of the room and has nothing to do with the amount of time
it takes us to complete the job.

What does your shopping service
offer?
We can help you with fine furnishings, fabrics and trim at the mart –
and pass our decorator discount directly onto you. Or, we are great
bargain hunters and we can help you create the designer look for less!

Sherry often speaks to groups regarding the Ten Most Common Decorating Mistakes
